The oldest winery in Clare Valley, established in 1851 by Jesuit priests for sacramental wine production. One of Australia’s oldest continuously operating wineries and the only remaining Jesuit winery in Australia. Historic St Aloysius Church built in 1875 Gothic Revival style with crypt where 41 Jesuits are buried. Underground cellars, park like grounds and award winning table wines. Tastings available with grazing platters. Home to the Sevenhill Centre of Ignatian Spirituality.
